Have a prenatal breastfeeding class come to you! Learn from an experienced lactation consultant and ask your questions in the comfort and privacy of your own home. Class content will be structured around you & your family's needs. Your partner or support person is encouraged to attend.

In-home Lactation Consultations
Prenatal ConsultCombines an in-home breastfeeding class with a breast assessment and review of medical history. Especially helpful for first-time parents, those with specific concerns, and those with prior breastfeeding challenges.
Length: 1.5-2 hours. Cost: $150. |
Initial Postpartum ConsultFor anyone needing in-person help with breastfeeding. Includes a complete medical history, assessment of & help with a feeding, a weight check, answers to your questions, a personalized care plan, a report to your & baby's health care providers, and support via phone & email.
Length: 2 hours. Cost: $225 for one baby, $255 for multiples. |
Follow-up ConsultFor those established clients who need a bit of extra hands-on help. Includes assessment of & help with a feeding, a weight check, answers to your questions, adjustments to your care plan, and an update to your & baby's health care providers.
Length: 1-1.5 hours. Cost $125 for one baby, $155 for multiples. Inducing Lactation ConsultFor parents or parents-to-be interested in inducing lactation or who need help with relactation. This consult includes a complete medical history & review of your situation, breast assessment, discussion of options for this process, education on pumping & complementary techniques, a personalized care plan, a report to your health care provider, and support via phone & email.
Length: 2-2.5hrs. Cost: $225. |
Back to Work ConsultFor anyone with concerns or questions about going back to work & continuing breastfeeding. Includes a thorough review of your work situation, development of a plan for maintaining lactation while away from your baby, and instruction in how to use a breast pump (if needed).
Length 1.5-2 hours. Cost $150. Phone/Email ConsultFor anyone with multiple questions about breastfeeding and their particular situation but for whom an in-person consult is not needed or not feasible. Questions answered via unlimited phone & email support.

Lake Michigan PackageIncludes an initial postpartum consult, follow-up consult, & back to work consult. A prenatal consult or second follow-up consult may be substituted for the back to work consult, as desired.
